Doesn't hurt to be a Bible lateralist either. Certainly not. Far better than being a Bible Contortionist, Delusionalist, Illusionist... So you're giving that up? Good to hear.
(Ever read anything by Edward de Bono?) Never 'eard of 'em m8. He invented the term "lateral thinking".
Ever listened to U2's Bono? Never 'eard of 'em m8. So, how's the campaign going to just say "no" to EvC? I see you still can't resist me. Help scientific research in your spare time. No cost. No obligation. Join the World Community Grid with Team EvC

Doesn't hurt to be a Bible lateralist either. I'm a fan of the forward pass, myself. Archer All species are transitional.

He invented the term "lateral thinking". I'm sure someone invented the term 'sex'. But by definition people didn't need the term in order to engage in the activity
Never 'eard of 'em m8 3/10
So, how's the campaign going to just say "no" to EvC? I see you still can't resist me. Quite well actually. I thought it would be harder than it is. However, the bible says we should feed on milk before meat. I take its advice in general so I looked around a bit

quote: Phat, you know what you have to do man. It's bullshit man, it's just numbers, screw the money, run man, do something, you're not helpless... Humans weren't meant to have financial lives, it's an evil construct built upon the primitive workings of greed within humanity, it sounds cliche but you can free yourself from it all. You can transcend it.

Nietzsche was disgraced at the way humans have slipped into mediocrity, this thread makes it very apparent. And it's so sad. It's depressing. Many of you can't even turn back. And some don't want to........................................................................................................................

And it's so sad. It's depressing. Many of you can't even turn back. And some don't want to.... It is true that I am shackled do a nine to five. (usually more like 330-midnite) I enjoy talking with people, however. Of course I know some of the people that I work with, and we occasionally have very fun and funny days at work. On my days off, I have my volunteer work. There are some joys associated with that. Like today. Jaime called...it is his last year of school....he just got back from Cali and has many stories to tell. He is the first member of his family to graduate and he may even go on to college. Yes, I was in college. I had some young idealist friends....maybe somewhat similar to you...I dunno. They confidantly talked of many of the ideas and ideologies that they had learned. One of them, Mitchell, was a communist and proud of it. But it takes money to do everything. It took money to get Mitchell into college. It takes money to live...to buy equipment! (By the way, once you learn to have a mixing board on your computer, you can selectively redo your tracks and they will sound even more awesome!) But it takes money. You have the soul of an artist. Perhaps you should make a song about being shackled to the system. Edited by Phat, : spelling “There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, "Thy will be done," and those to whom God says, "All right, then, have it your way” --C.S.Lewis

How can you take such enjoyment in meaningless tasks that were created for you to partake in by other humans, by humans who were thinking about money, and greed, and efficiency? I guess that I dont see it the way that you do. You are almost 18 and poised to be able to strike out on your own. Freedom is cherished so much by you right now. I remember when I was 18. My Dad set me down and had one of those talks. I can remember it to this day, for he died shortly thereafter. He said "So....you are 18 and you think you know it all...." At the time, I really didnt think that I knew it all, yet in retrospect, I thought that I knew enough. Now...years later, I realize how different I am from then. I never know enough. My guess is that you have a big fear of being stuck. Stuck in a job. Stuck in the city. Stuck in the system. Its a healthy fear. Maybe you and your Father have had similar discussions...maybe he feels trapped but can't get out. The reality of college is that college costs money. The reality of life is that life costs money. A person does not have to remain shackled in their minds, however. Music, Poetry, Prose, and expression are some of the ways that we can escape the misery!

Nietzsche was disgraced at the way humans have slipped into mediocrity, this thread makes it very apparent. Everybody slips into mediocrity. Actually, most of us don't have to "slip." We're already there.
