I do remember a qualitative vs quantitative discussion somewhere suggesting that humans were no different form the other animals, on a qualitative level...or perhaps it was quantitative, i don't remember.
I don't see how anyone could seriously say that humans were "no different from the other animals" given that, even among the
animals, it's impossible to say that any one animal is "no different" than the others.
They're
all different. The animal kingdom boasts
enormous diversity. That diversity is more than sufficient to encompass all that makes humanity unique.
