Re: Sigur Ros 08/11/2008
The first and third videos are not available any more.
My favorite concerts within the past year and half include Rush at Red Rocks, Niel Young at the Wells Fargo Convention Center in Denver, and the Aspen/Snowmass Jazz Festival (with a conspicuous absence of jazz music).

Personally, I think "The Final Cut" is one of PF's best written album in total. Some people disagree with me (perhaps because it's also one of the most depressing PF albums?). The first time I heard "When the Tigers Broke Free" I just about cried. It's not just the emotionality, it's the musicality (I remember music more than lyrics, and good music is more likely than good lyrics to send a chill down my back).
I have yet to see any PF or related shows.
Speaking of O2--you weren't by any chance lucky enough to get tickets to the show of the decade, were you?

Re: 08/07/2008 Nissan Pavilion, Bristow VA
You sure "bristow" is not a typo? I found the place using google earth, but I can't imagine there being a nissan pavillion there. Unless it was a woodstock type deal.
Did you perhaps mean Bristol?

Re: 08/07/2008 Nissan Pavilion, Bristow VA
big place, that. So it is a woodstock type thing, although perhaps much more closer to a red rocks.
