Gil Scott-Heron
Hi Cavediver,
Sigur Ros are fantastic, I absolutely love them. Nice to know that they can pull it off live.
My favourite live gig would have to be Gil Scott-Heron at Glasto in 2000. I had already been lucky enough to catch him doing a warm-up set before the festival had properly opened, but his main set was a revelation. He was on cracking form and, as he played, a magnificent sunset provided a back drop to the stage. Very atmospheric.
Work for Peace stands out in my memory.
