Tribute Thread for the Recently Passed Greats

I always respected him.Every time somebody dies whom we think is not supposed to die yet, it reminds us of our own mortality.

Michael had an intense life. Much of it was disturbing, and I don't think that he ever fully confronted his inner demons, but his genius and musical expression will be remembered and immortalized forever. We all die, my Queen. We can only hope that we get a chance to fulfill our destiny and leave the world a little bit better than it was when we entered it. I always liked Earls style. He was head and shoulders above other banjo players, and he always seemed to enjoy playing.

I always liked that song Are The Good Times Really Over For Good?|It speaks to me of the lost America that I grew up idolizing. I realize now that seeing life through rose colored glasses isnt really what Jesus wants for me...but this song captures some of my nostalgia for what I felt I deserved from God.

They always called his diehard fans Arnies Army.now they have a charitable organization! Arnie's ArmyGood stories in that link!To me, Arnie represented the glory days of America...a time now lost.
