A condom does not prevent the spread of the Aids virus.

According to the FDA that is not exactly correct. While a condom is not a 100% assurance against transmitting STDs, it certainly is effective in most cases. No one has ever claimed it is 100% effective anyway.
​
To oppose distribution of condoms and universal and pervasive sex education is without a doubt one of the most unchristian actions I can think of. It is essential that we do all that is in our power to help others. That certainly includes education, including explaining to kids from 10-94 that sex without a condom is a far greater risk than sex with a condom.
