And omnivorous - Catholic Scientist/catsci

http://gameknot.com/chess.pl?bd=7030198

The jon-kuresu game has not ended, so their 2nd round games haven't started, and nemesis juggernaut/hyroglyphx vs. tudwell hasn't started.

If NJ or tudwell see this, maybe y'all could start your game. NJ's white.

Nemesis is gone for roughly 3ish months or so. He's with the Coast Gaurd right now.

My game with jon is almost over--i can't believe he's been dragging out a tourney game. Our game started first (02-24), and will finish last (probably in another 9ish days). I feel sorry for whoever he has to play next, cause i'm betting he will again take forever to move.

As he's also been suspended, he won't be able to post here for 2 weeks.

When nyesigrube's computer gets fixed, she has to replay her game with bluegenes--it will hopefully be fixed this evening.

Yeah. So what do I do about our game?

Next time
I missed out on this one, but someone please give me a heads-up PM if there's another tournament. Looks like everyone's having a great time.

Re: finally
The games are linked back around post 120. My game with riverrat/antslake was totally awesome. I sac'd an exchange that I was confident I'd recoup in a couple pawns and I was hoping I'd get some initiative and not pay for it, but he blundered a rook away, so unless I play really stupid, I should end up on top in that game. That was sad, because it was a great game. I really couldn't tell if I was behind or not. Once it's over, I'll pop it into Fritz and have Fritz tell me who was winning after the sac, or whether it was really even like I was hoping at the time.

Re: finally
Catsci vs. Omnivorous has ended.

His pain is gone, and catsci is in a better place now :)

So we're both ready for the next round draw.

nye is back
hey bluegenes.

you're in luck. nyeusigrube's computer is working again. go ahead and challenge her for a re-match (like we had said earlier). the condition though is that you all have to play out the same moves--which can be done by checking your game history, finding the one vs. nyeusigrube, and then playing it out.

i'll be keeping an eye on the game to make sure.

have fun.

Re: nye is back
Sorry kuresu - I must have moved the gameknot emails out of my inbox and completely forgot about our game! I was really enjoying that too. Best of luck in the rest of the tournament.

Where we are
I played Jon next and I defeated him in timely fashion. :) I am not sure who I play next, however. :) (I have lost once and won once, so far.)

Re: finally
Sorry, Omni - I've been on the computer plenty over the last couple of days but I totally forgot about our game somehow. I'm starting to suspect that the first game flattered me somewhat! If you do fancy another, perhaps with a slightly longer time limit to reflect my atrocious memory for these kind of things, that'd be great.

Re: nye is back
bluegenes from earlier post writes:

That's fine, and understandable! If you're in touch somehow, if her Email's working, could you ask her to challenge me when the problem's are solved?

kuresu writes:

I appreciate your help, kuresu, but I don't see that I'm in luck, and I would've thought that it's up to Nye to challenge me! I don't know who's due to play us after the second round, but I think some second round games are finished, and Nye's turned up just in time to hold up whoever's supposed to play us in the third round, so history's repeating itself.

I think we'll have to have a rule in the future that a timeout is a timeout, whether it's due to a three week computer breakdown, or joining the coastguard, or whatever.
