Well...that's all fine and dandy...except for one tiny little detail. She was anything but transparent. She really provided little to no information...other than her annoying banter about being a "maverick" and a "hockey mom". How many interviews did she give? Let's see, I can think of only two...and she did not do too well in either (the Fox "interview" cannot seriously be considered as anything other than a complete joke).And to call your opponent...a candidate for President of the United States...a Socialist and/or a play-buddy with terrorists can hardly be considered as being "refreshing". Disgusting...perhaps...but not really so refreshing. And if I had to listen to her invoke Joe the fucking plumber one more time...yaaaaack!! Man, what was it with the Republican Party being so fascinated with a fake plumber? The fact that this guy now has a publicity management agent, probably a book deal, and I heard rumors of a County Western recording contract...to me speaks volumes about both the Republican Party and Country Western music...in that, IMHO, both are currently vacuous and require very little intelligence. OK...maybe that's being a bit harsh on Republicans...but it still hold for Country Western music.But I digress. So anyway, how exactly did she come off in your book as "transparent" and/or "refreshing"? I will grant you the fact that she certainly demonstrated the "opacity of substance" you referenced. She showed an incredible dullness of knowledge...was quite murky on facts...and seemed pretty cloudy on most of the issues. But that doesn't make her transparent...unless by transparent, what you meant was that a majority of the American people saw see right through her divisive crap (and if that's the case, then I have obviously misread you yet again).

But I thought you said she was refreshing? Repeating the same old Republican scare tactic bullshit does not make someone a crafty politician. It makes them an asshole...just like most other politicians. I expect them to rise above calling their opponent a socialist and a terrorist. It was disgusting what she did...simply disgusting. Did you know that the Secret Service saw a huge increase in death threats against Obama after her rallies? She incited people to a level of violence that was completely uncalled for. I'm assuming that these are all post election interviews. She avoided the press like the plague during the actual campaign. Really? Genuine? Really?
