I really can't say. I like a Punk band called T.S.O.L., so that part immediately stood out for me, but their name stood for "True Sounds Of Liberty".

Yes,especially rappers. I recall an old track by BDP (Boogie Down Productions) in which an extremely talented rapper called KRS-ONE imitated their mumbling ways. "You're cupping the mic on stage!" he cried, in a muffled voice. Of course, he spoke of these ills back in 1991 or 1992, but they still apply.
