Previous registered under similar name. ID's have been merged.
For some odd reason he's designated "unregistered" at his new topic and "Suspended Junior Member" at his previous topic. The later is the real story.

ps: For some reason the message will not post if I have "Show Signature" checked. "Signature" to big?

There used to be a comedian who presented his ideas for a better world, and one of them was to arm everyone on the highway with little rubber dart guns. Every time you see a driver doing something stupid, you fire a little dart at his car. When a state trooper sees someone driving down the highway with a bunch of darts all over his car he pulls him over for being an idiot.

drmabus99 (aka davidmabus22) permanently suspended again
drmabus99 is a reregistration of the previously permanently suspended davidmabus22.
I have NOT merged the ID's.

?
I guess it was a combination of lack of time and feeling that it doesn't really matter.
I've now merged the drmabus99 ID into the davidmabus22 ID. davidmabus22 is now the primary ID.
The drmabus99 PNT, Atheist Apocalypse, is now listed as being by "No Name Available" (unregistered). That topic also does not show up in the davidmabus22 topic index.
Maybe that's why I hesitated in doing the ID merger.

Yes, this may be another example of holding the evo side to higher standards.

Dr Adequate - 48 hour suspension
We seem to have a glitch in the suspension software. This suspension will NOT show up as the usual little red symbol with a hovertext message. Instead, the suspension was done the old fashioned way - Dr Agequate has no topic starting, message posting, or editing permissions.
The intended hovertext suspension message:
48 hour suspension- See here. Mr Adequate has received 2 warnings to "tone down his crankiness" this month. One from Adminnemooseus, one from AdminNosy. - Adminnemooseus
The above cited is on top of Dr Adequate's past history of crankiness. Thus the 48 hours (I was considering up to a full week).
This suspension will NOT automatically be lifted after the 48 hours. An admin will need to manually lift the suspension.
Adminnemooseus
Added by edit - CHANGES DONE
Standard suspension now in effect. Standard topic starting, message posting, and editing permissions restored. Something about the hovertext suspension message was causing the problem.
Edited by Adminnemooseus, : See above.

For the record - LindaLou "perminent" suspension lifted
The suspension never got documented in a Suspensions and Bannings topic. It had been announced here.
Admin did a now unique lifting of a permanent suspension on 7/22/09, announced here:
Admin writes:
LindaLou has been reinstated from indefinite suspension. This does not represent a change in policy. Indefinite suspensions are still permanent, but in this case I felt an exception was appropriate.

Calypsis4, Dr Adequate - 24 hours by Admin
I'm glad he's doing the dirty work. I'll follow up by doing the "paper" work.
Admin, at the "Living fossils expose evolution", writes:
I've just issued a couple one-day suspensions for not following moderator requests and for posting off-topic.
I will continue issuing short suspensions for Forum Guidelines violations and for posting messages with no content that addresses how the example of bats either confirms or disproves evolution.
Admin's message is here.
Check upthread for the messages in question.
Adminnemooseus
ps. - I tried embedding the [midt] code inside the opening [qs] code - It didn't work.

Arphy, dwise1, Lithodid-Man, Archangel - 24 hours by Admin
Same topic as previous message.
Admin's suspension announcement includes:
I have regretfully issued one day suspensions to several more people for posting off-topic. The only off-topic posters spared were relative newbies. If you click on the "Admin Posts Only" link to your left you'll see that the topic is living fossils, and the example we're focusing on is bats.
The offending messages are just upthread, except for Archangel's, which is just downthread.

Far too much of this happening. Bluescat48 is the token whipping boy.
Adminnemooseus
ps to Percy - the [midt] code doesn't work in the hovertext message. It might actually stop the suspension.
