Kid Oh No suspended for a couple of days
I felt that his posting history is unproductive...specifically this response.
Edited by AdminPhat, : changed length of suspension after further consideration

Jon suspended two weeks by his request
Jon has been suspended from the board for 2 weeks. He initially requested this, and it now appears necessary.
Add by Edit: It appears that he has managed to get back in chat. Lets all help him get his homework done by ignoring him... This young man has a lot of potential if he keeps up with his assignments!

Jon requests to be unsuspended
So since I am the one who suspended him, I will undo it. I'm still gonna help him focus on his homework by ignoring him during the days, though!

Jon suspended for 24 hours
Jon has been suspended for 24 hours as a warning and reprimand for this outburst and also saying this to Schraf:
What a beautiful straw man you've built up here... let's hope you're the only crow he convinces
Jon is hopelessly addicted to this thread and needs some time away from it to do his homework! Lets hope he puts as much passion into that as he over zealously does here!

Brennakimi given 3 days off
Perhaps it was just the attitude and the profanity. We need to keep in mind that even if this is a giant shared Blog, it is governed by Forum Guidelines

Nuggin given 1 day suspension
Although he adamantly insists that he be allowed to do so, I am giving Nuggin a one day suspension for again attacking the person rather than the issue.
In this post, note the chosen subtitle and references to Jon.

Rob disrupts the P.O.T.M. Forum
Rob is receiving a one day suspension for disrupting the P.O.T.M. column, here go up thread a couple of posts to see Post #13 where it started.
Further justification for this sentence comes from the good book itself:
Heb 12:10-11-- No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Simple has been restricted
I'll take the heat for this one. Simple is now unable to post any Proposed New Topics for one month. I shall then consider whether to allow him/her to do so at that time.
Even though we all disagree on many topics here at EvC, we do know the basic dividing line between Science and Faith/Belief.
Simple, apparently, does not. Here is an example of one of simples recent quotes:
Anywhere that the bible is brought up, a proper balance of what the bible means is perfectly in order, and phooey on crippled science that is not even a minor league player in the fields of the Lord, and the bible.
This type of jabberwocky is totally unacceptable here at EvC and will not be tolerated.
