He has shown that he has nothing of significance to contribute.
He is nothing but a disruptive influence, of which too many people who should know better are only too willing to follow (troll feeding).
I have too much elsewhere to do, to blow a lot of time trying to control the Wise induced mess.
You may think I have done the wrong thing in suspending Wise. I really don't care. Wise can appeal his situation to Admin/Percy if he wishes. I will not be the one to restore his posting priviledges.

On what grounds did you suspend him since all of his posts were in the free for all forum?
The bottom line, is that the "government" of this forum is a benevolent dictatorship, with Percy (and Admin), who pays the bills, the ultimate boss. I am one of his assistants.
I think we gave "Wise" plenty of a chance to become a worthy participent of this forum. He refused to cooperate.
Yes, his participation was in the "Free For All" forums, but I refuse to let him make any "FFA" topic he chooses, into a garbage dump.
Percy/Admin can overrule me on this. This is his site, and he is the ultimate authority.

jdean was rather personally abusive to me and did his best to offend and goad me, yet he was never suspended. He took his ball and went home eventually because I wised up (eventually) and completely ignored him.
I don't recall if the jdean situation was in the "Free For All" but my now very vague recollections were that I thought 1) You were strong enough to take care of yourself (who here at this forum doesn't fear "the wrath of Schraf"?), and 2) You were smart enough to learn to ignore him. I think the "Wise" situation might have resolved itself eventually when people learned to ignore him, but in the meantime his input and influence was causing big messes.
That said, perhaps the powers that be were negligent in not squashing jdean.

I'd rather have an unresponsive poster around than a angry, agressive one who goes after people personally.
It was not his unresponsiveness that bothered me. It was that he thought it his right to post anything he wanted to, in any "Free For All" topic. He indicated he would cease doing such only when an official guideline rule was established saying he must. But, I think it is only common sense that, even in the "FFA" forum, a topic exists to discuss that topic.
Perhaps I should have established a special "FFA" topic just for "Wise", with the instructions that if he stepped outside of that topic, he was suspended.
Anyhow, a suspension need not be terminal. If he contacts Admin, and promises to behave, he will be reinstated.

Aww, shucks, thanks.
(The 'wrath of Schraf?' Really?)
Actually, I may have been hallucinating, vaguely under the influence of the Star Trek movie "The Wrath of Khan". That, and the Schraf vs. Gene90 epics.

Wise has been un-suspended
"Wize" made an appearance in "Welcome, Visitors!" topic.
"Wize" and "Wise" were determined to be one and the same.
Admin has unsuspended "Wise".
Please bring any further discussion of the "Wise" situation to this topic.
Thanks,
Adminnemooseus

My apologies. I replied in the visitors topic before reading this post.
Actually, you had replied before I posted the message just upstring.
I decided that the visitors topic was terminally damaged, and closed it. I haven't re-researched it, but I suspect it was probably already badly damaged even before the "Wize" intrusion. Regardless, as a "Welcome, Visitors!" topic, it had probably gone on long enough.

Gene, 1 click on the "reply" button will do it. Click twice, and you get twice, as above and also as at the other topic.
Cheers,
Adminnemooseus
ps: The "non-admin" mode hasn't forgotten that "other" topic. You do deserve a reply from minnemooseus. Over the past months I've started and discarded a few messages on "that" topic. Now that you're back, I'll try to get something out. Been pretty busy in the real world lately, though.
