is it just me or is the board being major slow lately? anyways. i suggest we make a coding page for the intolerably stupid. we must make the internet safe. since i'm sure percy wouldn't go for a pre-posting quiz to check for idiots. 80% required for passing. i think it would be useful to have a board-based message system. most boards do. then if we wanted to call attention to something or give someone a note about something it would be easier.

we could be caught up discussing the first chapter for an entire thread as there is another thread for that at this exact moment, it would be off-topic in this thread.
you control the tone and of the thread to keep it flowing. control yourself. if people refuse to think of this as the study of a book, then they can piss off. as i said in the thread (which you should read, btw) people should present their notes from the book and then we discuss from there where people have interest. if it devolves into a fight about whether the flood happened or what the meaning of the word "create" is, i'd suggest people get booted.
