Guido: Banned for life?
Guido clearly violated forum guidelines...repeatedly. For a 14 year old who is immature, this is more likely than that of an adult.
I agree that we should not tolerate or condone Guidos behavior.
I work with many kids like Guido, however, and am not in favor of a permenant suspension.
Can we give him a few months and see if he matures any more? (Maybe even a year or so....) But I would like to have the opportunity to mentor Guido, should he come back. He DOES have some issues, and I would insist that he formally appologize beforehand.

Satire? Tongue in cheekiness?
Knowing Parasomniums style as I do, I would venture a guess that the remark was satirical. Para has an acerbic yet likeable wit about him.
I just finished talking with oblivionlord in chat and attempted to explain to him the idiosyncrisies of human interaction in a chat forum.
We can be a bit like one of those churches you mentioned in your other post: a bit exclusivist. But in general, we try our best to provide a balnce between disciplined guidelines and rules soas to prevent forum anarchy, and a level of friendliness which can only get better!
