Avoiding Dogpiles
Hi Percy
When there are many replies to a post it is easy for the poster to pick and chose what to repy to, thus many good arguments are left to waste.
Maybe not allowing other posts to be seen till previous questions are answered?

just trying
That sounds less like 'avoiding dogpiles' and more like a strategy for maximising any feelings of oppression and resentment the dogpilee may already be suffering.
I don't claim to have any handle on it, it seems to me that many a good post is ignored and the poster gets to pick and choose what to answer.
Maybe there's no way to avoid it on an open discussion forum.
We can always think of the lurkers.
Thanks.
