Re: erikp and Rrhain
Ned, a mild general warning to all of us participating on the thread might have been appropriate, but if possible, please don't interfere with the most interesting thread going!

Re: People who can't take a hint
He's a Canadian schizophrenic called Dennis Markuze. He's a "prophet", of course, and it might be interesting and educational for those of our members who are followers of ancient "prophets" to see one in action, so I agree with Coyote.
He comes with death threats for those who disagree, but that, as those familiar with some ancient scriptures will know, is nothing new.
We're often dealing with delusions here, both cultural and personal. The interesting thing, for me, is that I can never find an exact line that separates, for example, a John A. Davison (I think you played host to him before my time) and guys like this. There probably isn't one. Crank to crank/nutter to nutter.
Give him a thread, Percy, and let's see what we can learn. (I can tell you that he certainly won't take any "hints")!

Hmmmm, I don't know if that is such a good idea. It's one thing to give a thread to an egotistical ass just to teach them a lesson, but if this individual is truly mentally ill as you say, I don't think it is wise to add to his paranoia, not only for his own safety but for the safety of others around him.
I didn't say anything about teaching him a lesson, I suggested that some of our members might learn something from him. The experience won't change his condition at all, not just because of its nature, but because he's already had many such experiences on the net elsewhere.
"Prophets" and "seers" teach, they don't learn, and the modern ones are the same as the ancients.
Buzsaw can see Ezekiel in action.
