I second the motion; see Message 199 where I felt a need to say these things for the second time in the thread. Have a look at the responses I got. Please also have a look at Message 202 by a different poster, thanks. I'm not deliberately trying to wind people up but it seems I stepped on some toes.

I've taken this on board all right -- it's the reason why you banned me. I've been making conscious efforts to make sure I respond directly and I thought I was doing well in the thread in question but I'm open to people's opinions on that. It is weirdly ironic that I'm complaining about someone doing the same thing with me, though RAZD has noticed the same tendency in the poster for some time. I'm trying to take it as an example of what I should not be doing myself. It's getting tricky because that thread is getting flooded with posts and I'm going on holiday for a few days; I'm simply going to have to be selective about what I reply to, I don't see any other way.

Rahvin in "A Modern Day Miracle Man" Message 37He clearly feels strongly about the subject and while I sympathise, I wonder if he could tone the language down. Thanks.Edited by LindaLou, : No reason given.

Calypsis4 in Living fossils expose evolution, pick any recent message.Consistently ignoring evidence posted by other participants in the thread; instead, repeating his personal mantras over and over. It's impossible to have a meaningful discussion with him.

Just a request for a mod on The Flood, fossils, & the geologic evidence to lend some focus to the topic. It's another Calypsis thread out of control. I appreciate your efforts so far Nosy but it's going crazy in a short amount of time.

It's nothing personal Faith, honestly. It's the format of this forum -- in order to discuss a topic you engage in debate. Maybe there are some views you don't feel comfortable having challenged here just now, or in this way. Can you think of some topics here that feel less likely to provoke strong emotions? I know what it's like to be on the receiving end and ganged up on, it's happened to me several times here and it can be frustrating. But if you post the sorts of comments you have in the Marxism thread you must expect to be challenged because there are people who will disagree and put their own views forward.
