Does this mean that my post counts from before the update has been lost forever? Despite my best effort in trying to spam... post as many messages as necessary, I still look like a newbie.

I had planned to rebuild the member database last weekend, but that time was instead spent fixing bugs introduced in the last release. So now the plan is to rebuild the member database this weekend. Once that is completed, your post count will accurately reflect the number of messages you posted.

Post Counts Now Correct
Member data files have been rebuilt. All post counts are now correct, though this will take a few more minutes to be reflected in all threads.
