Possessor certainly has some major misconceptions about the evolutionary process in general...but he did do a far better job in his response than the single- or double-liner proposals we've seen from him previously.
I'd actually like to debate with him in the freckle topic as he laid it out, as opposed to the existing evolution-of-the-eye thread. They may share the same general topic, but the specifics would be significantly different given his statements on what evolves when and from what.

My Problem With The Bible...
The moderators are right that the OP is too unfocused for a good debate, but I don't get the feeling that the author is looking for an argument. PD says "This is a debate board, not religious counseling.", but I don't think that should stop us from having interesting conversations with each other. I didn't see that either moderator offered that the OP could be placed in the Coffee House or even the Free For All. If some of us just want to converse, I don't think the non-debating-ness of it should prevent us from doing that, especially when there's forums that allow for it.

Anyone can begin Coffee House threads. You could start a topic there where you link to Cyber Prince's thread, then comment on it. If a focused discussion emerges the thread can always be moved to a discussion forum.

A quick comment on the PNT (Help me understand the non-literallist position).
AdminPD suggested two other threads that are in Bible Study. But I had thought that Taz was proposing a discussion that would better fit in Comparative Religions.Christianity claims the moral high ground it its rhetoric. It has long since abandoned the moral high ground in its practices |

Here.
I'm sure we'd all enjoy Of course, you'd have to make him say something of substance first. Perhaps if he could post these fifteen questions of which he speaks ... I seem to remember answering them several years ago when I first read this piffle.

I am interested in what he has.
I am curious what his 15 questions are. If for no other reason than to display to the lurkers that we can support our position. If his topic gets squashed, we all know that they will advertise that the science side is so scared of what he has to say that we silenced him. And we can expect Buz to add it to his conspiracy against anti-evolutionists.

Hi BT,
I am curious what his 15 questions are. They're here; http://creation.com/.../15-questions-for-evolutionists-s.pdf They're stupid. Mutate and Survive

Hey GM,
I checked them out. It is very disappointing that they are still using such blatant dishonesty to promote their faith. Chuck has put them up. It will not be too difficult to hammer them all down. It will be good to have a link that I can supply to anyone that I think may have been violated by the stupidity that it the Creation Ministry 15 questions brochure.

Hi everyone
I think that the young Jimmy Stephens who originated the thread is a bit off base as it's not new at all. The so-called initiative started in May or June last year. It might even have started years ago; you never know with them. The biggest scam artist who ever had the privilege to walk the face of the earth, Don Batten, has pretended that he got a few "answers" from "atheists" and that he is "refuting" the "answers". Those "answers" to the 15 questions were obviously also dreamed up by the arch scam artist himself. You can see the the first chapter of the "rebuttals" to the scam "answers" by arch scam artist Don Batten himself here.

To me, he looked pretty close to a spammer. The only thing missing was a url to his site.
His PNT does not actually propose a new topic. It's just an advertising blurb. I'm not seeing any interest in discussion in that post.Jesus was a liberal hippie

It looks like Chuck77 is interesting in discussing the 15 questions, see Message 1.
He is looking to get Buz involved, I assume for support. If we can get Dawn Bertot and IamJoseph involved, we will have ouselves a hootenanny. Jokes aside, if the other side actually believe that the questions are valid, they need to be told why they are incorrect.I could agree with you, but then we would both be wrong Butterfly, AKA, mallethead - Dawn Bertot "Superstitions and nonsense from the past should not prevent us from making progress. And you actually think we're capable of telling that trio anything? I mean, you've been here 6 months now, I would have thought you'd have figured out by now that you can always tell a creo, but you can't tell them much.

Hey Subbie,
And you actually think we're capable of telling that trio anything? I picked the people least likley to make any sense. And also least likley to see reason. I need to work out a better way to display sarcasm in my posts.
