The TRUE reason for the EvC controversy, and why it can not be resolved.

I created this thread on Thursday. On Friday I enjoyed the discussion there.
​
However, on Monday, to my shock, I found my topic has grown to 11 pages. Working through them, typing a general reply to most of the issues raised, I was shocked even more to find my topic has been closed.
​
I don't know what has been said in pages 6-11 to prompt admin to do this, but I must say, as originator of the thread, I do feel a bit left out. Could you please open the topic so I can at least make a closing comment or something?
