I for one think that the closure, or steering isn't soon enough. Generally I'm very glad to have the administrators there. I think that you should always be harder on the "evo" side as far as staying on topic etc goes. In fact, I think you could be a little firmer.
So don't worry about doing your job. You're good at it. :-)It's too bad there isn't anyother role that an "arbitrator" could play. One trying to stand back from the specifics of each argument and point out to the parties when they are talking "past" each other or aren't answering the questions put. Do I make sense? More of a referee within a thread rather than an "administrator". I think you've been asked before but:Why bother with any scientific evidence if you have to invoke the supernatural to make any of your speculations work?No one (well almost ) is interested in attacking religion per se. What most of us object to is this so-called creation "science" nonsense that many of it's proponents are trying to get into school science classes.If you're not in that camp then then isn't really any direct argument to be had. You say things were done my some sort of magic. We say "don't deal with magic, don't see any need for it". End of discussion.Why then do you bother with all sorts of postings that seem to be talking about actual physical evidence?

Regarding the closing of the magic 3's thread.Not a too fast closure at all. Why too slow in fact. What nonsense!

How much time commitment do you want?Actually, I would like to see a couple of creationist moderators more than me.I would also not want to be held back in posting under my non admin id?My comments on the magic 3's thread was my own view. Others seemed happy to post to it so I'm not sure I would have closed it anyway. If I took my own views to much into consideration I wouldn't have the various "biblical" threads. I'm not sure what attacking the bible has to do witht the creation science vs ToE agrument in any place where the bible isn't apparently contradiction the findings of science. But it is enjoyable to read over none the less.
