******* 9am (Munich time) could not even enter the forum (3 attempts spaced a few minutes apart). No error message, nada, but the page would not open. As of now (9:17) it is still very slow but I (obviously) have access. cheers, M

+++++++++++++++++++++++++ addendum...though I could access the main page, I could not access the Evolution forum at all until 9:30. Strangely, I could access most of the other forums though I did not test them all. It is still very slow in general.

I am having trouble tonight. The server is slow but not completely locking me out. I first noticed around 2AM central. It is now 3AM. ------------------ http://www.hells-handmaiden.com

I filed another ticket with the webhosting company, and this was their reply: | Although this was probably caused by a DOS attack attemp, the server's security is under our SysAdmins control, they're aware that the error regarding the fork() failure is caused by this. The new version of Apache mentioned is already in Development and will be available very soon. Please keep reporting to us when you experience this errors on your site to facilitate our monitoring of the server. |

--Site itself accessable, though discussion forums, topics, threads, and their listings inaccessable from 9:15 --> 9:40 East Coast. This is what I experience often if I am active enough to observe it. Every little bit helps right? ------------------

Couldn't get to topic list page, at about the same time as TC mentioned (above). Didn't even get as far as getting any error message. But then again, my phone line connection (and ISP?) leaves much to be desired. Didn't try getting to any of the non-message pages. Moose

I could get to the homepage but got "internal servor error"s when trying to list all forums or selecting a forum. I noticed the problem at 4:35 P.M. CST, it lasted about 10 minutes. All seems to be working fine now. Frank

Just posted in the Evolution forum..I posted my message and hit the button once but the message appeared twice. Edited out the duplicate and wrote "deleted due to duplication"...the "n" in duplication was cut off when the message appeared.
