It's much more intuitive.
I love the "EVC==>Forums==>Dates and Dating..." That's very handy. I like having the members listed in the frame above. I like the banner across the top. Good job!
I don't much care for the initial "home page" or the fact that once I click on List All Forums, I have to then click on EVC Forum to get to the forums.
Personally, I would like that second page (the one that appears after you click on List All Forums in the home page) to BE the home page (or something real similar). The present home page looks like it belongs on a different web site. However, it is a "problem" of no consequence at all....just a small thing.
But, overall, this new release is tremendous. Good job!

Omigod! Thanks for reminding me. I have to update the links on the home page!
PS - The link you record in your Favorites or Bookmarks list for EvC Forum doesn't have to be the home page. It can be the URL for the "all forums" page:
Or if you prefer, it can instead be the URL for "all topics" page:
Or any other URL to the site.

There's something that bothers me about this new format. Call me old fashioned, but I would like the reply button to have a little red arrow instead of a weird green thingy.

I the "green thingy" on the reply button is all you have a problem with then things are going well!
If you zoom in a little on the "green thingy" you'll see that it's an arrow.
Button design is time-consuming. Anyone who has skills in this area is invited to develop button sets for EvC Forum. I'll consider using those that are done well and would mesh well with the existing board design.

Here's an idea. Can do a better version later if u guys want. Ofcourse, the idea is that the poor lil Lam won't miss out on his little red arrow.

Bit different.
Design one
Design two, in two sizes.
3.
(I'll do a couple more later tonight and edit them into this message).

Re: My second design
Love your designs so far Mikey. Remember, you don't have to hold yourself to just bringing back the LRARB, you can do a whole new design in a complete button set. Just remember to make a regular and a mouseover version of each.

Re: My second design
I like the bigger arrow in #1 but the bigger letters in #2. I also like the outlined letters. RAZD needs to look and see if they are easier to read for his tired eyes .

Re: My second design
Place your cursor over one of the actual buttons on the bottom of any post. When you "mouseover" the button changes look slightly. I believe all you would need to do is to make two versions of each button and they can be plugged into the appropriate spot in the program.

Re: My second design
I think I get the mouseover thing now.
Do you want a complete set of buttons? "edit" etc?
I want a million dollars upfront.
