I'm going to do a bit of mindreading here - but I always thought that Percy has some sort of social program going on in the background with those rather strange decisions like making faith an admin (someone who regular calls people idiots etc). He thinks that he can "save" people with some positive reinforcement and attempts at behaviour modification.
You are making many errors.
No one is talking about EvC member Faith. The Fundy at issue was Buzsaw. Your next error: Percy is under no delusions about "saving" persons or modifying their behavior - in the Bible it is hard for God Himself to modify the behavior of anyone. EvC Forum stands alone as far as tolerating other views apart from the Darwinian worldview. Percy RARELY erases any message and gives Creationists an arena to make their case unimpeded, unlike every other Darwinian controlled debate board which are wholly Talibanic (I know I am serving lifetime banishment from most of them). Creationist controlled boards are even worse in their renditions of Talibanism. I have been banned for typing the word "hell" and "damn" in a message.
I also suspect that they think the adminship will rein in her abusive behaviour towards others due to the "gosh faith now you are one of us, you realllly need to set a better example to the little people".
Replace Faith with Buzsaw and then your statement is correct.
Look at the cage they have you locked in, isn't that really just an attempt to modify your behaviour by allowing you to run your own debates and then when you run out of opponents, you are suppose to go "gosh I realise that my debating technique is scaring people off - pretty pretty please can I have another attempt in the main forums".

Showcase Forum is for persons with "unusual" views. That would be, in this case, certain Creationists and renegade evolutionist John Davison who is insisting on resurrecting teleology back into Evolutionary Theory.
There is no insult since, synonymously, Showcase is saying Darwinists disapprove of a Creationist. What is unusual about my Creationist views (nothing) ? Davison's views are unusual. Since Darwinists believe apes morphed into men it is a compliment - their approval would have validated our (my) wrongness.
