Re: moving on then
I strongly suspect Charles is right, but I'll risk feeding the troll a little bit more.
This is the third time you've mentioned diamond at the centre of the earth (see Message 15 and Message 48) - but in the other two posts you specifically said diamond walls. What do diamond walls have to do with anything ? What possible reason is there for even suggesting them ?
This time you've also pulled the figure of 1500 miles out of your ass and added mention of a diamond power centre (and mentioned the supposed 1500 mile high golden city - aka New Jerusalem from Revalations).
I can see three possibilities here :
  1. You're trolling
  2. You're barking mad
  3. You're working up to telling us New Jerusalem is waiting at the centre of the earth until after the Day of Judgement (which is obviously wrong as this site clearly states it is in outer space)
So which of the three is it ? Actually b and c are pretty much the same thing, so which of the two is it ?

Confused ? You will be...

Two straighforward questions
I've followed this thread and occasionally contributed but it's been hard work. Perhaps you can clarify something for me by answering a couple of questions :
  1. Do you have actually have a theory about the structure of the Earth ?
  2. If the answer to question 1 is 'yes' why don't you just present it "as is" and let us examine it ?
It seems to me you are attempting to move forward one step at a time (gold/quartz walled chambers, a 1500 mile diamaond at the core, water or some other liquid around the diamond or whatever your current version is) and get us to say to each idea "it's not impossible". I suspect you are building up to having a whole string of "it's not impossible" things at which point you reveal some overall model of the structure of the earth.
If I'm right then why not just cut to the chase ?
You may have noticed already that people are asking for evidence of the ideas you're putting forward - you aren't going to get away with just "it's not impossible".

Confused ? You will be...

Re: Now that's tough!
For the sake, again of moving along I'll tell you soon, roughly what I am checking out, and hoping for imput on, if some are privy to knowledge that is relevant.
Why not just tell us now ? By not doing this you're looking more and more like a troll.

Confused ? You will be...

Re: having a fit
Simply a fresh look at the evidence, without a presuposition of great heat.
What reason do you have for rejecting the view that the earth is hot in the centre ? Maybe you answered that somewhere in the preceding 150+ posts but I don't remember it.
Without a plausible answer to that question there is no point in continuing.
P.S. Watch out for Billy goats

Re: magical quark ferry
resulting in the same end-a cooler interior
There you go again with the cooler interior.
You still haven't answered the question about why you think the interior isn't hot. Actually you haven't really answered any other questions either, but everything stems from that one.
If you don't have a plausible argument for that then you can't move on to the rest.
By the way, there isn't a 'magical quark ferry' - you can walk across the bridge from one quark to the next. Just watch out for what lives under the bridge...

Re: cool crystal?
I see AdminNosy just gave you a 24 hour suspension, maybe you can answer this when that expires.
After reading your post I think your reason for saying the core isn't hot can be summed up as :
  • I believe the Bible is literally true
  • From the Bible I can work out the age of the earth
  • This age is 6000 years (or 10000 - some value which is small compared to geological time)
  • From the Bible I know the centre of the earth is not hot
If I am correct - or even in the right ballpark - then I think there is little point in continuing. You have a religious belief (which is fine) but you have no science to show us.

Re: bully boy
The problem with cosmo wasn't that he believes in god or a created earth - it was that despite repeated requests he hadn't provided a single shred of evidence after 160+ posts.
The Forum Rules (which we all agreed to when we registered) say :
  1. Make your points by providing supporting evidence and/or argument. Avoid bare assertions. Because it is often not possible to tell which points will prove controversial, it is acceptable to wait until a point is challenged before supporting it.
All cosmo has to do is abide by this.
So all creation people out there, remember, here, evolution must be accepted as a premise!
I think you'll find that apart from off-topic digressions the issues on this thread have been about geology, not evolution. They aren't the same thing you know.
