For me, it confirms that there are a lot of jerks out there who, from the safety of anonymity, lash out aggressively at anybody who disagrees with them, probably without taking any arguments into consideration. This goes for atheist and religious people alike. Dawkins himself has published, I think in "The God Delusion", citations of hate mail, sometimes of a really blood curdling nature, which he received from religious people. Whatever atheist morons are capable of, religious morons can do just as well.

... and let's not forget all the wonderful books on biology and evolution that he has written over the years. He is an ethologist and evolutionary biologist first and foremost, as well as an ardent defender of proper science education.
