Apologetics
Why, then, is it still on ICR's, AiG's and every other IDiot and creotard's website as gold-standard anti-evolution propaganda?
They're doing religious apologetics, not science.
Accuracy is not required, as it is in science. In religious apologetics it is required only that the words agree with their a priori beliefs.

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.

Re: Lies, Damn Lies and Creationist Quote Mines
My statement clearly implies that i believe in natural selection, it is a VITAL part in creationist thought.
There is no such thing as "creationist thought."
There is only belief.
That is where quote mining comes in; when that belief fails to agree with the natural world (i.e., science), the natural world must be twisted, distorted, misrepresented, ignored--or quote mined--until that disagreement goes away.
"Creationist thought" is truly the antithesis of science.

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.

Creationist nonsense
Everything is always devolving. As my article clearly explains Mutations are evolutions end - creation.com. Our genomes are in a constant state of decay.
Nonsense.
This "devolution" stuff is an attempt to justify a religious belief (The Fall) with scientific terms. But it is clearly a disproved idea.
And your article--your article is elegant nonsense. I love your "time to extinction" chart -- so you claim that Noah's descendants would last about 2,000 years and then go extinct. That failed logic disproves your nonsense right there!
Why don't you let religious belief and science be two different fields? (See tagline.)

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.

Creation "science" again
The problem is that creationists are not doing science, they are doing religious apologetics, and the latest iterations of this are creation "science" and "intelligent design."
The methods and the evidence required are completely different.
They think creation "science" is a way of killing off science, particularly any evolutionary science. Within the purview of creation "science" they are correct.
In the real world, which is where science is found, they are wrong. Laughably wrong!
Because of the vastly different methodologies, quote mining is actually evidence for creation "science!" It is junk science at best in the real world, but to them quote mining is an evolution killer!
Its no wonder scientists laugh at the nonsense we see from these folks.

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.
