Actually, has anybody here played Knights of the Old Republic? Didn't like the second one, but I thought the first was great. Really good story and exploring all those planets was pretty cool.

This is obviously the greatest flaw in modern RPGs. We've all been Fangar the level 13 wizard, heir to seat Garnak. However secretely we all want to role play as Cassandra, a down on her luck marketing excutive who takes a much needed vacation with unexpected romantic consequences.May I ask, what do people who are interested in pen and paper RPGs think of computer RPGs? I've played the latter a lot, loved Deus Ex, Elder Scrolls (especially the newest one), e.t.c. However I've never played the former.

Yes, I enjoyed them quite a bit. They varied a lot in quality, but the best ones were an absolute blast and actually had some rpg elements like an inventory.
A few companies released similar products and there was one in particular which involved you fighting your way through a dungeon and it had pretty advanced rules with a little octogon-wheel thing which was used for something (maybe fighting). I absolutely loved it, but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.

Have you played the new nWoD? They've brought out Vampire: Blood and Smoke, which is a new version of Vampire: The Requiem (although the background and canon is quite different), and it's a bit more similar to the Masquerade and with much better mechanics than either.I had problems with both Requiem and Masquerade, but Blood and Smoke is very good.**Although I loved both, I just really love Blood and SmokeEdited by Son Goku, : Love
