It clearly suggests that its more likely to be struck by lighting than to be in plane crash, which speaks volumes about the rate of plane crashes.

So, let's say he specifies three different fridays - that's a prob of someone dying of 1-(3/4)3 = 0.58, or better than 1 in 2 of someone dying on any friday out of a choice of three.
