Because a lot of your posts are nothing but crap. They are words strung together to sound philosophical and intellectual but are nothing but bullshit and word salad. In lots of your posts one can read the self satisfaction you are getting in trying to sound like a deep religious philosopher, when in reality all it is, is mental masturbation.

If you took time to actual post cogent points I would not jeer you so much. Instead you seem to post mostly personal mental meanderings, that in reality say nothing. If that is what you want to post why don't you pull a Faith and post on a personal blog.

Well, that's one view, and I can see why you feel that way, but some bring us messages that aren't always in the words.

What does that mean? All a web forum can have is words. Whatever you get out of those messages are always in the words. Tone and meaning are all based upon the words typed.

But then again you are biased. Also, Percy has stated he did not have a particular problem with how he Tanypteryx was using the system. So I guess this is all just your issue and you throwing another hissy fit.

I've been advocating from way back, that the (+) option be in the hands of the members and the (-) option be only in the hands of the admins.
Of course you would because the Admins always know what is best.

Also, Tanypteryx has clearly stated how he was using the cheers and jeers. Moose has decided to ignore that explanation and use his own bias and to decide how he thinks Tanypteryx was using it.

A while back there was admonishments for "piling on". Moose wants to take away the ability to express disagreement with a post completely.
​
There are a lot of posts that are just stupid and a waste of time. This forum has and should give all members the ability to express that they feel a post is a waste of pixels as much as they should be able to praise a post.
