Creationists think Evolutionists think like Creationists.

That should be "kill and be killed". It's a food chain, not a war. There's nothing pessimistic about food.

It's unfortunate that the word "irrational" has negative connotations for some people. It's like "racist". Nobody wants to be a racist any more. Nobody wants to be irrational. Everybody wants to be a cross between the Dalai Lama and Mr. Spock.But we're not. We are a little bit racist, most of us, and we are a little bit irrational, most of us.I'd say that as long as your couch isn't telling you to kill the mailman, you can feel free to embrace your irrationality.

You're being dishonest with yourself. In a practical scenario, you don't go looking for non-material solutions, do you?When your car won't start, you look for material solutions. Is the battery working. Is there a starter problem? Is there gas and spark? You might pray for guidance but when you look under the hood, do you really expect to find "evidence" that God doesn't want you to go to work?

That isn't what I asked you. In a practical situation, like when your car won't start, do you look for non-material solutions? Or do you look at every conceivable material possibility that you can think of, no matter how unlikely it seems? How many possibilities do you have to try before you conclude that God doesn't want you to go to work?And more importantly, what is the "evidence" that points to God not wanting you to go to work?

It does seem to be typical of creationists that they think everybody is partisan just because they are, that everybody will jump on the bandwagon just because they do. If they have no repsect for anybody else's intelligence or integrity, is it because they have none of their own? Maybe they think intelligence and integrity don't exist.
