A wing has to be perfect before it is any use at all. Before it is a perfect wing, it would be an un-aerdynamic blob.
That would make sense only if wings were "designed" for flying which is not necessarily the case. As with many changes in structure, the change came before the use. The same can be said for lungs, legs, amniotic sacks, urea rather than ammonia excretion & eyes. The only way these so called irruducibly complex organs can be claimed is if they were what the change was for prior to the change, which does not appear to be the case.
