The end of the world as we know it is coming. God's final judgement is near. Stop worrying about whether accidentally knocking chattel on the Sabbath is considered 'work'. Forget hypocritical priests. Forget judging a person based on their beliefs or practices - your neighbour is the one that would pick you up when you are down, nothing else. Just follow Jesus and love your neighbour as yourself. Be nice, give away all your money to charity, make no aggressive act even if provoked. Prepare for the end, repent your sins before it is too late. Tartarus awaits those that have committed certain sins unrepentantly. Help the sick, care for the poor, and don't worry about your own wellbeing because God will look after you. And do it all in secret, knowing your reward is from God not in the praise of others. Wear sunscreen.
An anointed King of Israel has arisen and performs miracles to prove his credentials before ushering in the Golden Kingdom of Israel.
That's my short summary of the core message I get from, principally Matthew plus or minus a few other bits that I've been exposed to from the other Gospels.
