Thread Copied from Proposed New Topics Forum
Thread copied here from the Why I see creation to be more scientifically correct than evolution. thread in the Proposed New Topics forum.
AbE: The original topic proposal contained three different topics. I promoted the thread, then removed two of the three topics and changed the title appropriately. I'll work with the originator on his other two topics.

Lysimachus is Off Topic
Hi Lysimachus,
This thread is not about what came before the Big Bang, and it is not about atheism, and it is not about cause and effect, and it is not about God. These are all valid topics for discussion, but please raise them in threads where they would be on-topic.
Also, please follow the Forum Guidelines:
  1. Bare links with no supporting discussion should be avoided. Make the argument in your own words and use links as supporting references.
In other words, even if your video were on-topic, you should still use it only as a supporting reference, not as your entire argument.
I'm participating in this thread under my Percy alias, but I am not going to recuse myself from further discussion just because of a single hand grenade lobbed in by someone who's been absent for over six months.

Please Get On-Topic
Unless someone has a better suggestion, please take the matter/energy discussion to the Where did the matter and energy come from? thread.
Edited by Admin, : Correct link.

Temporary Closure
I have to concur with Sasuke that Where did the matter and energy come from? is the proper thread for the current discussion. I'm temporarily closing this thread to allow this novel idea to take hold in people's minds.

Thread Reopened
I don't think the actual topic of this thread has been under discussion for some time, but it was originally about how the solar system formed from the Big Bang.

Hi Alfred,
You're gradually expanding the number of threads in which you're introducing into the discussion your own preferred cosmological theory. All these threads already have topics, and some had been dormant for some time.
If you will submit a thread proposal over at Proposed New Topics and it is promoted then you will have your own thread to discuss this cosmological theory and we can keep the other threads on topic.

Moderator Request
Hi Alfred,
In order that discussion of your preferred theory not be diluted across a number of different threads where it isn't the real topic I am requesting that you submit a proposal for a thread where it could be the focus of attention.
I'm not trying to begin a dialog with you, so please do not reply. Just submit a thread proposal to the Proposed New Topics forum. Ill have time to look at it later today.

I have removed Alfred Maddenstein's posting permissions in the Big Bang and Cosmology forum. Alfred has submitted a thread proposal over at Proposed New Topics, and I will restore his posting permissions as soon as his proposal is promoted.
