Creationism is
not a theory, at least not in the scientific sense. A scientific theory is a framework that explains why a particualr thing is why it is. With evolution for example, the
theory of evolution explains the
fact of evolution (the fact that allele frequencies change over time in a population). Creationism has absolutely no explanatory power.
...and that when one realizes that both are factually the same thus being theories we can all rest from our own convictions of acceptance.
