I think that you're thinking of
Rob Lockett, who called himself "Rob" here on EvC. Click his name for his Email. He's a California truck driver who would never stop quoting the Bible on science threads. He was posting occasionally on William Dembski's blog last year under the name "Lock", still Bible quoting, and has a diary
here, which will be full of misunderstandings of science and, of course, Bible quotes.
I had a brief exchange with him on "Uncommon Descent" a few months ago which was hilarious. I got banned (although that was nothing to do with Rob).
