Re: Here goes nothing...
the same is true with evolution, with many different theories, sometimes conflicting,
What are these conflicting viewpoints?

Re: Here goes nothing...
That's not what you implied when you wrote
the same is true with evolution, with many different theories, sometimes conflicting,
Your point
Archeopteryx is younger than fully formed bird fossils (150 myo), and is only considered transitional. Great debate among evolutionary scientists over whether archeopteryx was the beginning of bird lines or if previous fossil evidence was properly dated.
Is untrue.
So, you have not substantiated your point that there are conflicting theories of evolution.

Re: Here goes nothing...
I'm looking at your post about lightning causing life and that hot vents cause life and I see nothing about evolution: how courious when you suggest there are conflicting views about evolution that you put forwards arguments for theories of abiogenesis.
I'm at a loss as to why you should bring up abiogenesis when the point you are trying to substantiat is about evolution.
You do know that abiogenesis is not evolution, don't you?

Please provide evidence of another plane of existance for your non physical being to exist in.

Re: Here goes nothing...
I assume you mean that one is a requirement on the other:
This is of course false. If a god created everything then evolution could still function.
You are still yet to provide evidence for your assertion of competing theories of evolution. As far as I'm aware there is the thery of evolution and, well that about sums it up as far as science is concerned.
So, two points for you to catch up with the rest of us on, eh?

Re: Here goes nothing...
Did you miss Huntard's example of Nylon eating bacteria?
I'm still waiting for this mythical conflicting theories of evolution you have yet to support with any substance or, god forbid evidence.
Apart from showing that some people don't believe in evolution (non scientist) and that some scientist are creationist (already established that ToE works fine in a created worlds) you have shown us nothing about the conflicting theories of evolution.
You have only showed us that some people being in creation: they are not logically mutually exclusive (which was your point, I beleive).
Edited by Larni, : No reason given.
