While not intentionally funny, I find these whimsical designs amusing:

Re: Ageist hat on
Hi Species8472, you young whippersnapper.
Forgive me, but according to what I remember from a couple of your past posts, aren't you suppose to be like 50's or 60's?
I'll be 64 in March, old enough to retire if I want to (having to much fun with work however).
Old people aren't suppose to know how to work around with technology. That's for us young folks. You're suppose to be figuring out how to turn on the computer, not rebuilding it.
I did my first programing in 1966, and built my first computer over 20 years ago.
Piece of cake (notice the important tools used).
Enjoy.

Re: Ageist hat on
it was done using punch cards to feed into a large mainframe IBM that filled a temperature controlled room where access was limited to the true geek inner circle.
and when you made a mistake you got a box full of "dump" output ...
enjoy.

Your milage may vary on whether you regard this as humor, but it is one of several examples from patent applications filed by folks at Halliburton:
LOL, do the theological properties vary proportionally with the density of the medium?

Re: problem solving ...
Hi Mr Jack,
That's from a British TV show, isn't it? I think I remember it from when I was a kid.
actually it is from a guy in texas who treated the squirrel to increasingly complex tasks and adding new ones as the previous ones were mastered.
-- or the source where I was given this link is not being factual?
Enjoy
