I know people who refuse to believe that Obama has contributed more to the national debt than any U.S. president in history (even more than the bloated whore, Bush, and that's after adjusting for inflation), even when clear evidence proves it.
I just can't understand how someone can be so opinionated about, well, anything, to be unable to recant
even after offered evidence to the contrary. For example, my head explodes frequently when viewing certain posts on this and other message forums, especially when relating to something as contentious as creation. Although the internet allows for a high degree of anonymity, personally I'd experience a bit of discomfort if sticking with a standpoint which has been proven wrong results in a loss of personal credibility. But that's just me.
