Re: bogus claim on the age of the earth being in the bible
No it isn't. The history is written in the earth, not in books.

Re: bogus claim on the age of the earth being in the bible
Well, science works. I think you don't understand what science is exactly. It's not a belief system its just a framework (backed by evidence) of what we observe of the world and how things work to the best of our current knowledge. As we observe more science makes corrections to better represent the newly revealed reality. You seem to have an issue with reality.

Nice vague statement of faith. Too bad it is wrong.

I stand by my statement that you don't understand science. If we were to throw all the collective work and theories of science away and started over, we would eventually end up with the same scientific explanations for reality that we have now. The earth and universe are very old, no worldwide flood in the history of humankind and evolution of life happened.

This response violates this forum's guidelines and is unproductive. Science is reality based by definition, so why do you feel the need to deny reality? Is it a tenet of your religion?

Re: If We Throw The ToE Away, What Will Replace It?
A mathematical model does not trump reality. For many years it was claimed that bumble bee couldn't fly as the models didn't support it. Recently, newly created models uncovered how they could fly. Your models don't reflect reality and therefore can be dismissed as can the the previous models that said bumble bee couldn't fly. They map is not the territory, reality trumps mathematical models.

No, what I am saying is there is evidence today that carnivores can survive on non-meat diets. Where is your evidence from the past or future that says carnivores can only survive on meat?

Well if we didn't think you were a crank before, this nails it! The foods in your Peta link are not something a carnivore could find in the wild, so yeah, carnivores can't live on naturally available plants and need meat, as they are, as you know, carnivores.

Re: Response to Religious BS
Yeah, just take a gander at this and try and defend it.
