Nice vague statement of faith. Too bad it is wrong.

Why use the word evidence when you have no idea what it is? You were shown to post belief based claims using various evidences as a place to project your beliefs.

As I sometimes explain to people, evidence is evident - i.e. everybody can agree what the evidence is. If you have a dead body with a hole in it, it is clear to everybody that the body is dead and there is a hole in it. Any interpretation of the cause of death or the origin of the hole is not evidence. You are not in a position to say what is evidence or not, only to deny and reject evidences you don't like. Similarly, the Bible is evidence that somebody wrote something down. The interpretation that it is true is not evidence."I'm Fallen and I can't get up!"

Claims of ratios being caused by the present nature, or tree rings etc are faith based. Rather than pretend everyone thinks they are evidence, simply prove that nature on earth was the same. Otherwise your claims are based on faith alone no matter what you call them.
I notice you mention the bible. Funny how when people diss Scripture it is OK in a 'science' thread. They should change the name to 'blasphemy and biased against truth and God using the word science falsely' threads! Edited by dad, : No reason given.

How so? You could do the same experiments yourself and get the same results, regardless of your rteligious beliefs. Claims of ratios being caused by the present nature, or tree rings etc are faith based. ABE:

How so? Simple, you assume trees grew in this nature (therefore slowly as today and that the rings represent yearly patterns) and you assume that isotope ratios were formed in this nature exclusively. Then you foist this belief on us as science. Then you silence opposing beliefs (in the forum in which you have been a regular and therefore part of it)

And we assume that the earth has always been a sphere. What's wrong with that? you assume trees grew in this nature (therefore slowly as today and that the rings represent yearly patterns) and you assume that isotope ratios were formed in this nature exclusively. If you want to challenge the assumptions, you can certainly do that. But you can't just speculate that nature coulda/woulda/shoulda been different in the past just because it gives you the result you want. You have to challenge the assumptions with substance, not just wishes.

But you would never deny and reject evidences you don’t like, would you? You seem to prefer a couple of bits of a single old book, yes?
And please do tell us where in your book you found Proof (TM) of the former nature you talk about. Chapter and verse, please.

But in the 1st century Jesus was able to stand on a hill top and see all corners of the world. Or maybe the earth was so massive then that it bent light along the earth’s surface. It’s your responsibility to prove me wrong. And we assume that the earth has always been a sphere. What's wrong with that? (In other words: Why are you wasting your time with this troll and/or jutnob?)

I stand by my statement that you don't understand science. If we were to throw all the collective work and theories of science away and started over, we would eventually end up with the same scientific explanations for reality that we have now. The earth and universe are very old, no worldwide flood in the history of humankind and evolution of life happened.
Nice vague statement of faith. Too bad it is wrong.

This is a science forum and you use it to recite foolish old wives tales that are blasphemous?

Insults to God's word aside, no, I have no reason to ever deny evidence. I simply point out that your incessant splattering of your beliefs on to the evidence is not fact or science.

Just wait and see who silences opposing beliefs here. But since you were here a long time you already know. Why pretend?

This response violates this forum's guidelines and is unproductive. Science is reality based by definition, so why do you feel the need to deny reality? Is it a tenet of your religion?
