Actually what you are looking at is a bike lane on a rail trail.
Ah, I see that now. Should have used a little power of perspective, in that no respectable automobile would have fit to the right of that broken line.
We also have a nice long rail line in this area (60 miles), and it's a beautiful ride, called "The Woebegon Trail". Too bad I can't stand Garrison Keillor. It's not that his radio show sucks (at least not all the time), but that his voice just drones on and on until I inadvertently nod off. So no Prairie Home Companion in the car for this Minnesotan...
I find flags work too, especially if they lean to the left.
I'll check to see if my local bike shop has flags, and if they're sorted as to political affiliation. I assume left leaning flags are taxed at a higher rate...
