I have mostly stayed away from that thread, and most of the time I have not been reading posts there. On the few occasions when I have read a post, it looked like completely insane nonsense (which is why I have mostly avoided it).
I somehow have the impression that most other people have also been avoiding it.
(And, yes, I am know I am not supposed to engage in discussion in this thread).

Limiting the total number of votes available at any one time. For instance, if a member had a store of 10 votes and used one of them, he would only have 9 votes left. The vote store would be replenished on some schedule, for instance, give each member an additional vote every day, up to a maximum of 10.
That's not a bad idea, if it becomes necessary. I don't think it is necessary at this time.

Yes, that's my observation.
Remember folk, when you cheer or jeer a post, that does not tell me anything at all about the post. I can read the post for myself to learn all that I want about it. So when you cheer or jeer a post, you are telling me something about you yourself. Cheering or jeering a post is making a public statement about your opinion of the post.
