I have mostly stayed away from that thread, and most of the time I have not been reading posts there. On the few occasions when I have read a post, it looked like completely insane nonsense (which is why I have mostly avoided it).I somehow have the impression that most other people have also been avoiding it.(And, yes, I am know I am not supposed to engage in discussion in this thread).

That's not a bad idea, if it becomes necessary. I don't think it is necessary at this time. Yes, that's my observation.Remember folk, when you cheer or jeer a post, that does not tell me anything at all about the post. I can read the post for myself to learn all that I want about it. So when you cheer or jeer a post, you are telling me something about you yourself. Cheering or jeering a post is making a public statement about your opinion of the post.

I'm a bit puzzled that there was moderation in Free For All.

Somebody needs to fix "Essential Links". It lists POTM for February and earlier.My suggestion would be to just make it a link to the POTM forum, and skip the individual months. That way, "Essential Links" won't need updating every month.

My first impression was of a confused newbie. I have not found a reason to revise that impression.

It looks normal to me. Maybe it depends on the browser. I am using firefox 11.0 on linux (opensuse 12.1).

This is mainly due to a decrease in postings in the other areas, rather than an increase in Coffee House posts.The creationists have gone AWOL, have perhaps started more of their own sites.

Someone has kindly deleted them all.There were 10 or so posts (I didn't count), but they were gone by the time I tried to look at one.

If people have finished discussing Aurora Colorado Violence, maybe that thread can be closed an a separate thread opened for debating guns. I shall happily ignore the gun thread.
