But it all depends upon whether Adminnemooseus is willing to try moderating the thread.
Short version answer: No
Longer version answer: Do you think I'm that crazy?
Still longer version answer: I don't thinks I'm remotely up to understanding what's happening in that topic, and thus be in any position to supply any useful guidance, discipline, or magical fix. Or something like that.
Maybe a disinterested someone else is interested in taking a stab at moderating the topic, to be appointed "special moderator" status. Maybe kind of like being the Ken Starr of evcforum.net.
Again I say, I don't think I'm up to it. Besides, much of my time is going to be taken up by my fixing things up between Israel and Palestine.
A link in the signature is not automatically considered spam
I've added this note at the message in question:
Just this comment: This message was reported as signature spam. The message is a legitimate reply, although I don't know if on-topic. And I think it's OK to have a non-commercial site link in the "sig". So, no action taken - Adminnemooseus
It would also be OK for Jar to have a "Dreamcatcher" link in his "signature". It might even be a good thing.
Still, thanks for flagging that message. But please, no replies to this message.
Can't close it yet - The subtitle "Re: Deja Vu - The feeling this topic's been reopened before" has only been used 35 times so far. Let's shoot for 50 - Then we'll be talking quality deja vu (or something like that).
Agreed. It was a response to speculation about the possibility of the US being hit by a tsunami, in a thread about a tsunami. In the Coffee House.
1) This is not a discussion topic - The here replied to string of messages should not have been here (except for the first one).
2) That said, I'll reply to the end of the series, rather that the first (and proper) part of the series.
There is a lot I don't like about the nature of a lot of Jar's messages. But what has resulted in two suspension are "bare links without even having links" type messages. I, and probably most everyone else, needed to Google Jar's supplied phrase to find out what he is talking about. Not proper debate message content and it is a forum rule violation (rule 5).
