PM Spam

I am getting PM spam from user sylvia

i guess she likes you

I forwarded it to Admin already

You can hardly blame her, to be honest.

I wonder how this could be resolved, since, if I recall correctly, simply permanently suspending a member does not take away their ability to send PM's. Perhaps the ability to send PM's can be taken away?

Okay, this is not the exact wording. This is what I am seeing when I read between the lines: Okay, I wasn't faithful to the exact wording, and I don't have any actual evidence of the "Russian" or "scammer" parts. why russian it could be a niggerian (a country not the bad word ) scammer though those usualy offer you ridiculus sums of money.

If you had used the correct spelling (i.e "Nigerian") there would not have been much chance of confusion with "the bad word".I am guessing Russian, because there is a lot of Russian involvement in internet scams. For sure, they aren't responsible for all of it, but they are a significant player in the scamming business.

i mostly got them form nigeria on my email account after i started thertaning them whit "black magic" they suddenly stopped maybe they thought i was a loon or its true that superstision plays a big role in that countryp.s. i dont belive in black magic i was only running out of ideas to stop the spaming

Yes, but the Nigerian scams are usually more blatant about money. Pretending to be a woman and hinting at sexual favors seems to more commonly come from Russian scammers.
