I just went back and canceled it before the first episode aired. Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

I remember Dragnet but not that particular episode. Maybe we need a thread on old TV shows.

travel back in time to dated TV drug scripts . . .
DB, Anyone who is a Dragnet fan knows this episode. It is funny you mentioned it now, I just watched it a few days ago. The episode was nearly all non-stop verbal sparring from commercial to commercial. Talk about an aberration of typical televison scripts. The lines, though dated, were smart, so I bet it was a good and fun challenge for them. You can almost tell Jack Webb was smiling underneath some of the non-stop banter. Unfortunately for us, English is also your first language.

Groundhog Day
I enjoyed Groundhog Day. Watching Bill Murray live the same day over and over and slowly developing in to a decent human being, with lots of great pranks along the way, really gave me lots of great laughs. Even my Dad liked it, and as he says "I hate fiction".

I do think it is one of Bill Murray's best roles. If only I didn't hate Andie Macdowell with such a passion.

Love it - especially the lovely consistency: if it was the guy on the left who was grabbed, he wouldn't look surprised, but as it is the guy on the right, then he damn well should look surpised - and not just about being grabbed, but about everything!!!
