What is your native tongue? We have people on this forum that speak multiple languages. Maybe you would have greater success using your first language and having others translate.

Possibly. I think it is in Coffee House because Meldinoor didn't want to actually debate anything, and therefore didn't need Moderators' 'discussion approval'. Maybe it should be moved, but I think that would be Meldinoor's decision to ask. Perhaps Meldinoor will request a move after reading your posts.

'Discussion' threads will always be more busy than 'declaration' threads. (People love a good bicker ) I suspect that it is difficult (from a practical point of view) to discuss another person's deconversion. It takes a certain type of person to argue that your decision was wrong, as noone else was there to share your experiences. And I would suggest that your post was clearly written if it left people with few questions. My only reaction to your post is that it looks like you did what you thought was right, even though it was very difficult. Kudos to you.

The only real advice I have is: "Don't rush your replies". I find that if I leave my initial reply for a few minutes, I will re-write it and the quality can be massively increased. I also find that a second read of the original post can show a misunderstanding on my part. (Accidentally misunderstanding your opponent's point makes your reply worthless.) And always use the 'Preview' button!
