In addition to our knowledgeable members and their fine posting and debate style, this place is great for another reason: the technology. Many forums fail to attract the kind of debates that take place on EvC simply because their forum software itself is not suited to the type of flowing give-and-take discussion required for purposeful debating. With EvC, however, Percy's created quite the gem! The system of reply tracking, topic promoting, quoting, and referencing goes very far in creating an online environment that is more adequate for reasonable, intelligent, and in-depth conversations than any other forum I've seen.
It really is impressive!
