Hi goldrush, I don't want to add to the pile on but I need to point out a few things about what you wrote:
Learning is something that pretty much every organism with a nervous system does. Have you ever seen a cat or an octopus (both pusies!) investigate something new?
Two very curious animals I'm sure you'll agree (and the octopus is not even a vertebrate).
Have you every taught in class? Ever seen thirteen year olds seeking to learn and know things?
No: neither have I (joke).
The point is that you assertions of fact and extrapolations are unsupport and contradicted by trivial exposure to the real world.
God bless.

I feel that the heart of our decision to accept or reject the idea of a creator is based in our core values, the light in which we have personally come to view of ourselves, of others, our summation of world conditions, and the we feel about them.
What you are saying in effect is that you believe what you believe for the very reasons that cause you to believe in them.
Very informative.

No, this is an addition/clarification to a previous post where I stated that I believe our decision to reject or accept a Creator is not purely intellectual (or scientific).
Goldrush, what you are doing is saying "I believe x,y, and z" but you are giving no rationale for why you believe x, y, and z and you seem amazed that people could think this is bad logic.
This is a science part of the forum. Religious beliefs don't count (they are as you correctly point out, not scientific.
