What makes you think all conservatives are Christian?
There is a significant minority of us who are pro-science and fiscal conservatives, not the soc-cons who get all the press.
He said unchrist-like. Not unChristian.
christ-like: take care of the poor & sick
christ-like: love thy neighbor as thyself
etc.
Yunno - the good stuff about that guy, Jesus.
By soc-cons are you meaning socialist conservatives??? What press? Seems only Charlie Sheen is getting all the press....

We're not painting anyone anything. You guys do it to yourselves.
No, with typical leftie logic you group everyone together. You can't seem to deal with folks as individuals--you have to lump them all into (over)broad groups. Then you disparage the whole group.
If you really look around you will find that there are a lot of rational conservatives who support science and don't follow the soc-con dogma.
But you can bet the MSM doesn't know they exist--they don't fit the agenda.
You don't seem to know they exist either.

Don't look at me. The MSM is mostly made up of lefties, so it's not on my shoulders.

Again, why do I care that you guys exist if you don't do anything to help support gay rights or promote science? I do know you guys exist. I just don't care you guys exist just like I don't care that some sheeps are born black. Why? Because you guys don't matter.
I'll make you a deal. You guys get gay marriage to pass by popular vote somewhere and I'll start caring that you guys exist. Until then, you guys are just black sheeps, nothing more.

There are more issues out there than gay rights.
Trying to save science is far more important to our overall health and safety. Without science this nation is going under.
The soc-cons are willing to substitute myth and superstition for real science, and have their beliefs mandated by the government. That must be defeated. That's the way back to the Dark Ages.
So you fight your battles and I'll fight mine.

Amazing lack of selfawareness
No, with typical leftie logic you group everyone together. You can't seem to deal with folks as individuals--you have to lump them all into (over)broad groups. Then you disparage the whole group.
In these thee sentences you do exactly what you are accusing others of.
Are you really that unselfaware?
Oh that's right IOKIYAR.

Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts

Gay Rights is a simple fix - but science & math are huge problems - indeed, one of the largest security risks to this country! Wealth & Income Disparity being the other. These 2 problems dwarf out anything Al-Queda can drum up in their wildest dreams.
The soc-cons are willing to substitute myth and superstition for real science, and have their beliefs mandated by the government. That must be defeated. That's the way back to the Dark Ages.

I'd like to know who these "soc-cons" are. From your context it would appear they are on the Left? A great majority of people out here in the sticks of Massachusetts where I am are "republican hippies" who believe in Astrology! Some are even Pagans! There are a lot of Catholics! They tend to vote conservative, but lose out to the Greater Boston liberal vote, except for Scott Brown. Study after study has shown that the left tends to be more educated, so why now this notion of them being Dark Ages material? So - who are these "soc-cons"? Is the "con" part like "deceiver"?
Socialist Deceivers? Mandated by the Government??
Compared to Beck & Limbaugh, these guys have a LOT of work to do before they are even contenders in the same league.

Ok, then let's talk science. You get the conservative base to stop denying global warming and we'll talk some more.

The pro-science and fiscal conservatives are the minority, as I stated.
So small a minority that when it comes time to take a vote, they vanish.
There's a reason that the only Republican to vote against DOMA was the gay one. There's a reason that only one Republican voted for the climate change bill when it was in committee and only eight that voted for it when it made it to the floor. There's a reason that only seven Republicans voted against the defunding of Planned Parenthood.

But after many years we are becoming more vocal and getting far less willing to take crap from either the lefties or the soc-cons.
Better get used to it.
How does one get used to something that doesn't exist?

Thank you for your submission to Science. Your paper was reviewed by a jury of seventh graders so that they could look for balance and to allow them to make up their own minds. We are sorry to say that they found your paper "bogus," specifically describing the section on the laboratory work "boring." We regret that we will be unable to publish your work at this time.

Ahem.
When was the last time you heard GOProud advocating for gay rights? They didn't support DADT repeal, they're against the repeal of DOMA, they don't support ENDA, they invited Ann Coulter to come and tell them they're all a bunch of faggots. Exactly what is the "advocacy" they do?

Oh, that's so precious! You really believe, that don't you?
If the media were truly "made up of lefties," how the hell did Gore not win the presidency? How is it that despite the fact that there was a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate, there was practically no movement on any of the Democratic agenda? Why is it that most Democratic congresscritters are called out for being "liberal" but most Republicans aren't? Why is it that on all of the Sunday talking-heads shows, the guests are overwhelmingly Republican? That when there is a solo guest, it is almost always a Republican? That when there are panels, there are more conservatives than liberals? Why during the healthcare debate, there wasn't a single advocate for single-payer or universal coverage on any of the Sunday shows?
This is a serious question. What on earth makes you think the media is "leftie"?
